We had this booked for June and unfortunately they notified us that it would not be open in time. Yes slightly annoying as we had flights booked and now had to fine alternative hotel for June, however they have been ever so helpful in helping us rearrange for September and honour the same room and price. Much appreciated. We stayed at Helea a sister hotel last summer. Look forward to our stay now in September. Rob Graham

While we haven't stayed at the hotel yet, I wanted to give a review on our experience of the service so far as it doesn't reflect the low ratings given. We had a holiday booked for June which has had to be delayed until July when the hotel will now be opening - as much as this is a bit of an inconvenience and flights etc had to be changed, the communication from the hotel (Nikoletta in particular) has been really responsive and helpful and I think very fair in finding a good solution to moving the dates. I feel like they are doing their best to fix a problem that couldnt be avoided. We've stayed at one of the sister hotels (Elissa) before and loved it and we are looking forward to our stay at Rocrita in a few months!

I am incredibly angry and disappointed. We booked our trip through the Fischer travel agency back in January, and we were supposed to leave for our vacation at the beginning of June. Since I knew that the hotel was scheduled to open only in May, I specifically confirmed with the travel agency whether the hotel would indeed be ready by that time. I was assured that everything was on track and that the hotel would definitely open in May. However, on February 25th, I received an email from the travel agency apologizing and informing me that the hotel’s opening had been postponed to July 1st. We had deliberately booked our vacation in June to avoid the peak season and overcrowded beaches. After discussing the situation with the travel agency, we agreed to move our vacation to early September, hoping that the hotel would actually be open by then. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I now have to pay an additional 24,000 CZK because the prices for the new dates are higher. Seriously? I have to cover the cost of a mistake made by the hotel, which initially advertised availability from May 1, 2025, then postponed its opening, and now I have to pay extra for a mistake that was not mine? I can understand that things sometimes don’t go as planned, construction delays happen, and openings need to be rescheduled. But the fact that the hotel isn’t even willing to offer a simple compensation by keeping the original price for affected customers is absolutely unacceptable to me. I refuse to support such behavior. So, thank you, Ananea Rocrita hotel, for canceling our vacation, providing zero communication, and showing absolutely no effort to compensate for these complications.
