Elysian Luxury Eco Island Retreat

I have stayed here twice and would highly recommend it to couples and solo travelers looking for quiet and solitude. Each villa is perfectly appointed with every amenity. The property is very well maintained including the pool and grounds. The rainforest trail is challenging and well marked. You will not run out of things to do, or you can simply chill on your porch. The food is very good, and they are happy to meet your personal requests. The team here has the biggest heart - your comfort and experience is paramount to them. Each guest is special. Why 4 stars for location? Kayaking and water activities need to take into account the strong tidal current about 200-300 meters off shore. Also, there was a storm that took out most of the coral and white sand beach. BUT, having come back a second time, it is amazing to see nature recover right before your eyes as new coral growth is emerging. It is a very special, happy and hopeful place.

We just spent five wonderful days at the Elysian Resort. A big thank you to Tracy, Emily & the team for your amazing and friendly service. The Elysian is a great place to unwind. There are only 10 Villas, and a small number of guests. This helps to create a truly unique and intimate stay. All the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond - we felt very spoilt. Then there is the food! The resort employs 2 chefs from 5 star restaurants. The food was truly amazing. We did not go hungry. Their attention to dietary requirements is very impressive. We highly recommend the Elysian as a place to unwind in paradise.

We just returned from our Babymoon at Elysian and WOW was it amazing!! We had the best time and have memories we’ll cherish forever 🩷 We loved the vibe of the eco resort — it was luxury but also boutique. Because they can only host 20 guests at a time, we really felt like we were getting a special experience. It was also fun to mingle with the other guests during meal times + at the fire pit during canapé hour. The staff are incredible — Alice, Philly, Rachel, Janice… and all the others, you really made our trip special and memorable! Thank you for everything 😊 We also loved how all the food was included so we didn’t have to worry about spending more or where to eat / what to order. We could just sit back and enjoy all the delicious food brought out and every meal was an experience / nice surprise! The food was fresh/healthy-ish but also delicious. They are so good about any dietary requests or preferences. Also all the non-alcoholic drinks are part of the package, which was wonderful for me being pregnant. In terms of things to do on the resort — paddle boats, snorkelling, swimming, pool, spa, there is one hike. Probably the only draw-back is that the resort is secluded and you’re limited to what is there. But there is plenty to do if you are only there 4-5 days like we were. Most of the time we just enjoyed in the sun relaxing. Highly recommend the Whitehaven group tour. They took us to snorkelling, to Whitehaven beach with a beautiful picnic lunch, and to Hill Inlet view. It was a great experience being in a small group vs. a big tour. We splurged on the helicopter transfer to and from, which the staff helped us organise — expensive but worth the views! Overall I highly recommend this resort for adults and couples looking for a luxury, but unique/personalised experience. We loved it so much we even extended our stay by another night! It was our last trip before becoming a family of 3, and we’ll remember it forever 🩷 Thank you Elysian!
