Elzland Hotel Pfauen Wellness Spa & Vitalis Hotel

I'm currently staying in this hotel and I love it, it is clean, spacious rooms with an amazing view, seriously beautiful , they have a very nice restaurant with a great dining and amazing breakfast , even thu it is quite and more adult friendly yet my 5 years and 2 years old daughters had a great time in there

We spent five days between the years at Hotel Pfauen together with our grown daughters. We loved the relaxed atmosphere with many offers like the pool, saunas and classes. The food, especially at dinner, was delicious. As three of us are vegetarians, we loved the variations available to us. The staff is warm and welcoming and very attentive. We are planning on returning next year.

We stayed here for two nights, we had an option to book an extra night, but after two nights we decided to leave. Upon arrival the check-in was great, a very friendly lady checked us in and pointed out the afternoon snack that we could still use, this was included in our package including breakfast, afternoon snack and three-course dinner. After the snack we went to our suite and here we were quite surprised. The suite is very sparsely furnished, there is no fridge or coffee machine. There was a small carafe of tap water on the table and a plate with two small apples, that was it. What certainly surprised us here is that in a hotel that is just over four years old in an area where it can get quite hot, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The hotel has put one fam in the room but it made so much noise that you we had to make the choice, not sleep because of the heat or because of the noise of the van. The dinner was a bit limited in choices for us, but fresh and healthy, the staff was friendly but after 19:30 you hardly saw them on the terrace anymore. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and good quality, only downside here, upon arrival we were assigned a table with the message that this table was reserved for us for our entire stay as with all guests who had this arrangement, unfortunately the second day the table was occupied when we arrived for breakfast. Plus points: Beautiful surroundings New hotel Friendly staff Fast housekeeping Clean rooms Sufficient parking Very good breakfast. Negative points: Dinner a bit too limited Staff in restaurant could be a bit more active during dinner No coffee machine in the room and no fridge to keep your own drinks cool. We paid € 475 per night including two times a bottle of whine at dinner at € 32 each, due to the whole experience for is it was not worth € 475 per night. Despite the very friendly staff we will not return to this hotel.
