EMAJ Guimarães Boutique Hotel

Choosing EMAJ for our New Year's Eve celebration was the best choice we could make. We were greeted with the kindest staff, who answered all of our questions and made sure our stay was as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The rooms are designed with taste and convenience in mind. There is no item that does not have its purpose. We were blown away with the size of our bathroom and bathtub - possibly the best bathroom design out of the hotels I've stayed in. The room is a comfortable temperature, and the temp control panel actually works, so you can adjust it without an issue. The beds are large and comfy, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed. The hallways are quiet, and the windows are well isolated from the outside noise. It was an overall aesthetic pleasure that was matched with the quality of the amenities offered. This is a luxury experience for a very fair price. We look forward to returning to EMAJ again at the nearest opportunity.

An excellent location, nicely refurbished rooms and well-rounded breakfast makes this hotel a great choice for your city break at Guimarães. A bit further attention to hygiene (see photos) and better staffed reception (same person attending both cafeteria and reception) would have earned it 5*****.

The hotel room was spacious. The rooms were not cleaned so well. Linens and towels were not regularly changed. Hairs from previous guests were found in every corner. Breakfast was with limited options. The rooms were also high priced and compared to hotels in the vicinity was almost double for the same living experience..Staffs were friendly and helpful.
