This was a beautiful hotel. Everything was excellent the entire weekend. The happy hour reception was excellent. Our bartender, Joe, suggested the drink called Pretty Lady. It was delicious and had us feeling quite pretty and relaxed by the time we finished it. 🤭 I forgot to take pictures of our breakfast the next morning but it was delicious!! Embassy Suites is one of my favorite hotels. The plus to me is the comfort of the beds; it was the most restful sleep I have had in quite a while. You won't be disappointed with your stay.

Clean, modern hotel with great value. The free breakfast was the best I’ve had at any hotel. Easily saved ~$100/day compared to eating out in Maryland/DC. The fitness center had new, well-maintained equipment that worked perfectly for my on-the-go weight training. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water with good pressure even during peak times. The only downside is the location if you're spending most of your time in DC, but the lower price makes it worth it. Overall, a very good stay. I would gladly return.

The hotel was nice, but it's not your typical Embassy Suites. We're a family of 5 so Embassy is typically a favorite of ours. These are all king suites, so no option of 3 beds. Breakfast is also ticketed so you will get charged for any extra people. We were charged $12 for our extra kiddo, even though one of us was only getting coffee. Their pots are all inside their restaurant so you can't even go in just to fill a cup-you'd have to make it in your room. The pool is closed from 9-11 and 2-7 for private swim lessons. Our kids had to wait until those were done in order to use the indoor pool. They have an outdoor one too, but it was pouring so we had to wait to swim until the lessons were over. Not very kid/guest friendly when you can't even enjoy the amenities. The happy hour had pretzels, goldfish crackers, celery and carrots, bud and bud light, a couple of wines and a few liquors to choose from. Joe at the bar was wonderful and made me a "pretty lady," but didn't have much of the mixers to make a bunch. I like sweeter drinks so he was nice enough to accommodate me! Although the service was good, I can't say that our family would ever stay here again. It's just not as family-friendly as we'd hoped for with the pool closure and smaller suites.
