Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown

I really enjoyed my stay at the Downtown Portland location. I primarily chose it due to location and proximity to Portland nightlife, access to the Max lines, and closeness to the waterfront. I arrived quite early for my reservation (10AM) and the front desk representative was super friendly and let me know they’d text me when my room was available. I was able to get my room at noon, and it was clean and stocked, and even on an upper floor which was nice. The other reason I chose Embassy Suites was the breakfast included, which was always well stocked and clean (earlier the better it does get busy)! The evening reception was also very nice. Who doesn’t want a free meal and 2 free drinks? It’s also nice that elevators and doors are all key card access so you get a sense of security in downtown Portland. I will definitely stay again!

Took our 3 adult children with us for a weekend getaway in Portland and the Embassy Suites truly exceeded our expectations! Upon our arrival, we were greeted with delightful made-to-order s’mores in the lobby! That quick sugar rush after a long flight couldn’t have been timed more perfectly and that small detail immediately set the tone for a truly amazing stay. We had plenty of room in our 2-bedroom/2-bathroom suite and never felt crowded. The manager’s reception each night was a fun way to start the evening. 2 free drinks and complimentary snacks? Yes please! And the full buffet breakfast each morning with made-to-order omelettes were equally a huge hit. All staff were friendly and professional and genuinely seemed happy to be there. All of us decided after this stay, we will be looking for Embassy Suites for our future travels!! 5 out of 5 stars!!!

What a wonderful hidden gem of a hotel in Downtown Portland. The rooms are nice, huge, comfortable and quiet. There is a delicious free breakfast that goes beyond the traditional continental breakfast. There is also free drinks in the evening, I didn't try them but this is a cool offer. The hotel is absolutely stunning and full of beautiful architecture. The service was great. I was able to get a box fan last minute late at night and I appreciate it. Overall, just a lovely hotel and I recommend staying here over any other $150 a night hotel.
