Embassy Suites Louisville Downtown

Had a great two night stay. Location is convenient - dining and attractions nearby, airport a short ten minute drive away, and proximity to military post is helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Shower was large. Access to an atrium versus a city view was interesting but not a deal breaker. Breakfast was a pretty decent but could use at least one or two vegetarian options on the hot side. Valet parking price was pretty steep, but the assistants were helpful and the text system was convenient and made the service quite nice. Checkout was simple and pretty much non existent since they bill you the day you leave and send an emailed receipt. Overall I’d opt for this location again. Booked through Delta Stays but the cost per night was also decent enough to pay without points. To note, the staff member doing the drinks for the evening reception was incredibly hospitable and great too talk to. The snacks could use a little help but it’s a service not many hotels offer and with a two drink complimentary per person, no complaints. Great stay.

I love this place. Never had a problem until last night when the TV didn't work. They said they would have maintenance come check it out, but they never showed up. So I went into the room where the bed was it a laid down and watched TV. This morning, I called back down their for service again for the tv, and they said they would get maintenance, but he didn't show up. Anyway, besides that bump; we enjoyed ourselves. The reception bar was amazing. The breakfast was good and the lobby and design were beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Location was great and the staff were very friendly. The valet parking was convenient and the room was clean. My only complaint was the bed. It was heavily slept in, and uncomfortable. I’m not sure about other rooms, but the bed in my room was in desperate need of being replaced. Overall I had a great stay.
