Emerald Spa Hotel

This is without doubt the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. It was so dark and dismal, they had removed bulbs to reduce running costs. Everything was closed, apparently due to the pandemic, which was 5 years ago, in case you didn't know! They didn't advertise a restaurant or pool, but they didn't say what condition it was in either. Everything was dropping to bits. The fridge didn't work, we had to ask for a kettle, drawer fronts were dropping off when opened The 3 plates, cutlery and solitary saucepan all needed cleaning. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, the carpet threadbare. There was not a plug for the sink or bath. The lift could be heard groaning noisily across the corridor, if you dared get in it! The WiFi was useless, which cost us data. The main front door didn't operate, we had to use a side door. Lydia on reception was nice enough, but we only saw her on arrival and checking out. We never saw any other staff in the hotel, although our room was made up every day. It must have been Lydia!! It was very central to ski shops, the slopes and restaurants, but that's all I can say it has going for it. They need to remove those photos, because it is nothing like and gives a false image.

A tereible experince, very rude staff. The woman at the reception is very inconsiderenceand rude. Treating guests this way is terrible; you pay money and still get scolded. Disrespectful staff. I will never came to Bulgaria again; the rudest people I have ever seen in my life

Please do yourself a favor and abstain from making a reservation in this horrible "hotel". Its an expensive qrotesque building with very low-quality provided services. The hotel's staff is indifferent, the most of the equipment of the premises are out of order ex.elevator, the fridge and the television in our room didnt work at all.We threw our dairy products in the trash bin when we realize it the frigde is malfuctioning. Additionally, the cleaning ladies didnt clean our room in a proper way. Lastly,their uploaded pictures doesnt reflect the real situation, its a crappy and a dirty hotel with 80s interior. Renovation is an unknown word for the owner. The only positive is that is located close to the gondola lift.Dont recommend at all.
