Poor condition in bathroom and overall appearance. I can’t understand how it is a 5 star, yes, it has a pool but it’s so ugly, so unappealing, the spa is very scary in a basement poor light and dusty, food looked 2 days old but surprisingly it had good flavor, the service was super awful, asking for a deposit for a second room key? Really? The staff was so attentive to see if you were gonna steal something, laundry carts running so fast and not giving way to walking customers in the aisles. Power on and off making the WiFi unusable. It’s so far that you can not walk anywhere. You can tell management does not have a clue on how to treat 5 star hotel customers. So, regardless a 5 star facility it should NOT be listed as a 5 star, 2 at the most.

This place is far away from everything. Fortunately we just stayed 2 nights. Not modern. Rooms dated, bathroom and showers small. Very old.... I did feel as if i was on an old movie set. Struggled to communicate with very young staff who looked liked students. The food was basic, but desserts were lovely. The Olympic size swimming pool was refreshing. Maybe our tour operater used this venue for our hot air ballooning experience which was very memorable, and never to be forgotten, but i feel we could've stayed in a more central and modern hotel... However I'm grateful for the experience and made me wiser. I feel hotels should teach house-keeping to use a strong and clean-smelling detergent like jik or domestos to make their drains and toilets smell fresh...it adds a lot to the guests stay experience.

It’s an en-route hotel for our tour over the weekend. I guess the hotel was fully booked. One of our tour mate was put in a room on ground level opposite the lobby area. That room was NOT meant for hotel guest - it does not come with the key card and internal light switch - all gotto be controlled from the circuit breaker switch at the hall; as it’s NOT en-suite and he has to use the shared WC across the hall from his assigned room. There’s no shower facility in the WC so they told him to use the shower in the spa which is across at opposite side of the hotel lobby. Book this hotel at your own risk.
