Empark Grand Hotel Hangzhou Bay Ningbo

A very grand hotel at affordable prices. The comfiest bed that you will ever sleep in but the room may smell of smoke, something that I'm not used to in Europe anymore. Breakfast has a good choice for everyone. I saw the huge pool but didn't use it, has to be close to Olympic size? Good location, plenty of options to eat out if you don't fancy the hotel. Only 4stars because of the smoke.

Staff are very nice and polite, cleaning and consierge service is good, place is very clean in general, rooms are big and cozy, food is great, hotel price is fair, views are nice. The hotel itself is big and beautiful. Aspects that can improve: Sometimes, rooms or public spaces smells like cigarettes, english support, room doors (shake a lot when closing).

Close to the Geely factory and a shuttle bus that took me to work easily every morning made this hotel a good fit. The breakfast was OK, and the staff mostly knew english. Ordering food from room service what a bit harder since the staff working in the kitchen did not know English. Overall, a good hotel if you are visiting a short period.
