Empire Apartment Hotel

I stayed at The Empire Hotel while in Rockhampton on business, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade on check-in, such a thoughtful touch that really made my stay extra comfortable. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The location is perfect, right by the river, close to great dining options, and central for getting around town. My upgraded room was spacious, modern, and quiet, ideal for unwinding after a full day of meetings. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the in-house facilities were excellent, including the gym and restaurant. Highly recommend for business travellers – I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Rocky!

Stayed three days for a meeting April 2025. Immaculate modern rooms, good beds, very clean with cold split aircon. Front Desk are the warmest professionals I've seen in a while. Great sense of humour and willing to solve any problem. I'm old and hard to please but I really like this place. Straight out the back door into The Coffee Club and through that onto the river walk street. Close to the Cri Hotel (excellent bistro menu, value for money). You won't be disappointed...

We’ve just stayed 8 nights at Empire & have been very impressed with this accommodation. The rooms are spotlessly clean & are serviced every day. Large balcony & we were overlooking the river. We were given a room on the 3rd floor & after the first night we asked if there was a possibility of a higher floor, we were moved the next day to level 7. For a long stay there is everything we need - washing machine & dryer, cooktop @ microwave. I actually managed to cook a couple of simple meals during our stay, it’s a tiny kitchen area but it worked! Friendly staff & close to lots of restaurants
