Emporio Mazatlan

My parents retired in Mazatlán, and I hadn't been here since my mother's death. Needless to say I wasn't really looking forward to it, but I was very pleasantly surprised, to a great degree thanks to the Hotel Emporio. We found the service to be excellent, the food was superb, the accommodations were clean and well maintained, and the view was picture perfect. It's centrally located and within walking distance to good restaurants, stores, clubs, etc. The Cherry on top was the reasonable rate.

Everyone here is so helpful and friendly, the property is very clean and safe, and you couldn't ask for a better view when you eat at their restaurant or sit in a lounge chair. Lots of choices on the menu here. They are doing renovations on a few rooms but it doesn't interfere with anything. A couple of different pools including one for the kids and two hot tubs as well!

Location is excellent if you’re trying to get around the city. I did not try the all inclusive experience so I cannot talk about that. Rooms are okay, had a minor inconvenience with my door lock but it was fixed in less than an hour. Jacuzzi was out of order during my stay. This is a great option if you don’t want to splurge and want to spend time actually going around the city instead of just staying in.
