I read all the bad reviews and thought the worst, until I got here. We're in the north tower and have yet to have to wait for an elevator. You use your key card to go to your floor. The room is ocean front and nice. Alisha at the front desk was so nice. Got us checked in quick and then had a microwave brought to our room. We self parked for $35 a day. It's a bit of a walk, but walking can do us all good. There's no direct beach access, but a short and beautiful walk towards the pier will give you access. AC works good. Location is amazing. I will absolutely book again.

This motel is in need of a massive revitalization project. You can tell that it was once a very nice and luxurious hotel. The location is the only thing that makes it worthwhile to booking here. Staff was very nice though. I’m about 20-30 years late. First ever staying in Daytona. This motel almost ruined it for me. They are really going to have to invest some big time capital to bring this spot back to it heyday era.

This place is an absolute no go! If you own a Tahoe suburban or truck of any type you have to park a block and a half away. No valet available for truck. If you check in at night you will have to check in and then go park you vehicle across the road about a block and a half away then walk back through homeless and beggars. I’m a full grown man and felt like I needed my gun for protection. The elevators are in disrepair and won’t lift any more than 8 people. There are warnings posted to “ plan accordingly “ for peak hours. Whatever that means. The furniture and the decorations look they came from a 1980s holiday Inn. The room was in total disrepair. There were rust stains in and on the outside of the tub. The tub was small and not designed to stand in for a shower. The room is very small and there is no furniture or bag stands to out luggage on. When we got to the room there were no lamps on the nightstand or desk. There’s not even a cuck chair. There is a sliding glass door leading to a fake balcony that’s about 6 inches deep. The access to the beach in a block away and possibly two blocks away depending on where your room is because they can’t seem to put in access stairs because of a hurricane that eroded the beach. (For a hurricane that hit a FLORIDA beach almost a year ago.) Why was this a surprise? I do not recommend staying here at all. I will never again. I’m very surprised that it’s a Hilton.
