Entrée Groß Borstel Garni Hotel

I stayed at this hotel during Christmas, and it was a wonderful experience! My room was clean, quiet,and very comfortable. The highlight, however, was the amazing breakfast, it was delicious and had a good variety to choose from. The staff was also friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Hamburg and highly recommend.

Dirty! The room they gave us was so dusty and dirty that we had to go grab some alcohol in the near store and clean it ourselves, it looked like they didn't clean it for months. The bed sheets had some hair on it and stains, I had to ask for another one in the reception and change it myself (and the new one was not super clean). No service at all, I stayed three days and no one went there to give me more toilet paper, take the trash or change towels, I had to ask for papel in the reception. The room was not ready at 15h as they say it's the check-in time, we had to wait until 15:30h. The reception was friendly. The room has a good sound isolation from the street, with good windows and the bed was comfortable. The location was nice, with some grocery stores, restaurants and cafes nearby. Definitely don't recommend.

Was put up here by airline when flight was cancelled. Room was poor with no curtains to block light and very dated decor. No food. But free mini bar! Service was good at reception though and location was 10 mins from airport. Plenty of steps to climb at the entrance so not for those with disability (or heavy luggage!).
