Ephesia Holiday Beach Club

What an amazing place. It was like a heaven and our favourite place to return. Rooms were comfy and spotlessly clean, service friendly and quick. We used La Veranda restaurant and were served by Ibrahim who ensured everything was just perfect. Beach was so lovely and clean and just a couple of minutes walk. Swim up rooms were definitely a must, though we were using all the other swimming pools as well. All spotless and clean. The only thing I would suggest to improve would be an ice cream stall opened since the morning till late in the afternoon. Opening times 14:30-17:00 for small ice lollies is a letdown.

Extremely Unsafe – Serious Security Failures We chose this place thinking it would be a safe and family-friendly environment—but it turned out to be the opposite. While my brother was walking around inside the premier, an individual managed to jump the exterior gate and attack my younger brother on the property. The assailant then fled the same way they entered—completely unchallenged. It took 10 to 15 minutes for hotel security to even show up after we reported the incident. By that time, the attacker was long gone. Is this level of security acceptable for any establishment? What would've happened if these people had knives or any other dangerous weapons?? There was no one actively monitoring the perimeter, and clearly no real-time security response system in place. I cannot stress enough how terrifying it was—not just for us, but for the other families and children nearby. It felt like anyone could walk in at any time and do harm without any accountability. The hotel tried to downplay the incident, offering empty apologies but no real explanation or assurance that this wouldn’t happen again. For a place that claims to prioritize guest safety, this was an eye-opening and deeply disturbing experience. If you are traveling with children or loved ones, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Your safety is not guaranteed here.

Unsafe for Families – Extremely Disappointing Experience I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience for the safety of other families. During our recent stay, not only was the food extremely disappointing (poor quality, bland, and nowhere near what you’d expect from a hotel of this level), but we also experienced a terrifying safety incident. Someone was able to easily jump the gate and approach the children’s area. This individual had direct access to our kids before we could intervene. The thought that this person could have been armed is horrifying, and what’s worse, it took security almost 15 minutes to arrive after we called for help. By that time, the person had easily disappeared. This is absolutely unacceptable. Families should feel safe when staying at a hotel, and children should never be put at risk because of inadequate security measures. The fact that it was so easy for someone to get onto the property raises serious concerns about the overall safety of this establishment. I strongly urge management to take immediate action to address the security gaps. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone—especially those traveling with children.
