Erbil Arjaan by Rotana

Loved staying in this hotel. Stuff very helpful, before I even asked them to take my bags they were quick to help out every time. The manager Maan was lovely to talk to he even tried to connect us with tour guides who are outside the hotel with the best price compare to others we asked. Thanks Maan for great chat and tour on the spot help :) we will definitely be back to Erbil Arjaan by Rotana ! One thing to note. Do not use booking.com just ask someone to book the place in person it is much cheaper :) please match your online prices with in person prices:) Also, also I wish there was more Iraqie traditional breakfasts in the breakfasts options like Kahee and Kemar as well as Bakeeelaa bl Deheen and others :)

Nice and clean hotel. Rooms were spacious, more like hotel apartments with built in kitchen. Bathroom was clean and had all amenities as per standards of Rotana. Bed was comfortable too. Breakfast options were quite ample and good in taste. Nice restaurant for drinks too. Since I couldn’t get the taxi person at airport and I called the staff, they were not at all helpful. Finally one of my colleagues helped me out. But staff in person at reception was good.

The staff are friendly and attentive and the room was spacious and fairly clean. There are additional price increases if you use a card and the exchange rate from USD to IQD additionally inflated. The food was hit and miss, but mostly hit. The breakfast buffet has a huge assortment of local and international dishes, eggs to order, fresh fruit and juices, and great coffee made to order. The short ribs were delicious but the wings and pizza were meh.
