We booked the hotel for a week, just before the Summer season. A lot of places/restaurants were still closed in the local town because of this, so we spent a lot of time in the hotel restaurant. What a brilliant place. Three of us, including a restless 5 year old. The staff overall throughout the hotel were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. The bar staff were involved and warm, allowing my child to create his own fruit juice 'mocktail' blend. Whilst there was a lot of rain, it didn't detract from the beauty of the town, and the location was excellent for a wander to the centre. Fabulous place.
Very good quality hotel, with nothing but praise for the staff, as it was such as well organised hotel and everyone was really friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Rooms were large and modern with plenty of amenities. Unfortunately our flight was cancelled so we lost a day so didn't try the spa/pool. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from the main gondola in ski boots and about 7-8 minutes to the main high street. But there was a free hotel shuttle service in the morning always available when required. But we knew this booking so was not surprised by the location. Would definitely recommend.
I had a great 4 night stay at the hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic and everyone really did make you feel very welcome, very high standards. The room was lovely, slightly on the small side, but beautifully presented. The bathroom was special, with a standalone bath in the middle of the room. The breakfast was comprehensive and excellent, there is even a separate museli room! The hotel is a 10 min walk to the centre which was fine in the summer, but it is a little far from the ski lifts in winter, you would have to get a bus.
