A service blip was a cause for concern - they cancelled our confirmed dinner reservation less than 6 hours before- we had made it 5 days before. But a happy ending— Update- they got us in, and the meal and service were fantastic- superb menu, scallops, veal fillet etc. an excellent local Wine selection at reasonable prices. Seems to have been an administrative error, but turned into an excellent evening and a memorable Valentines Dinner!!

Family vacation with two small kids in winter time. Wonderful hotel with cozy bars and lounge. Very friendly staff and with authentic kindness. Was a real pleasure.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. From the start, it fell far short of expectations. The noise in the rooms was unbearable. The rooms are located directly above the restaurant, which also has a terrace, and you can hear absolutely everything happening there—conversations, chairs moving, everything. On top of that, you can clearly hear footsteps from the room above, making it very hard to get any rest. The spa was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The idea was for me to relax in the spa on the days I couldn’t join my husband skiing. However, that turned out to be impossible. The spa was overcrowded, noisy, and chaotic, with kids running around and towels scattered everywhere. The whole atmosphere was far from relaxing. With nothing else to do nearby except visit Sion, the lack of a proper spa experience made the stay even more frustrating. In the room, there wasn’t even a hairdryer available. I had to ask for one three times before they finally brought it to me. This shows a clear lack of preparation from the staff, though I must say they were trying their best given the circumstances. The breakfast was basic, nothing remarkable, and it didn’t live up to what the hotel claims to offer. Additionally, although they advertise it as ski in/ski out, the access was extremely dangerous and absolutely not recommended for beginners. We ended up walking along the road to get to the lifts, which was both inconvenient and unsafe. The restaurant, however, was a bright spot in our stay. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. I want to emphasize that everyone who attended to us was incredibly kind and always had a great attitude, doing their best to make us feel welcome despite the overall shortcomings of the hotel. In summary, this hotel promises far more than it delivers. While the food and the friendly service were appreciated, the rest of the experience was noisy, stressful, and disappointing. I would not return or recommend it.
