From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The hotel manager was outstanding always present, approachable, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. His kindness and attention to detail truly stood out. The entire staff was equally impressive. Everyone from reception to housekeeping to the restaurant team was kind, helpful, and always smiling. They went above and beyond to make sure guests were happy and comfortable. You could feel their genuine hospitality in every interaction. Staying at Erytha didn’t just feel like a vacation it felt like being part of a family. I’m deeply grateful and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Chios!
We are ending our 18 day stay and our first self guided tour of Chios. We chose Erytha Hotel for its proximity to town, private beach and Seaviews from our room. Our room N304 offers a breathtaking south east view over the turquoise Aegean toward Turkey complete with private balcony. From Sandra who first greeted us, Christos in the Kitchen and Katia and Stella who kept our room spotless, and lovely Katherine who kept us entertained while she was busy multitasking. Everyone at reception is phenominal, especially Panayiota who made our stay even better than the scenery. Exferisto Sas,
Unfortunately, I can't write anything positive. We chose this hotel for our 6-day vacation, but it was very old. I'm 8 months pregnant and the single bed was pushed together, so the middle was constantly open, and I couldn't get comfortable. It was very hot, and the air conditioning didn't work, so we couldn't sleep at all. The sea water was beautiful, but the beach was terrible. Part of the beach was crumbling and dangerous. It was on the verge of collapse. They never clean the seaweed from the shore. The pool was clean, but the marble grates were breaking, and one guest got injured because they broke their foot on the marble. The à la carte restaurant is overpriced and arguably the worst on the island. It wasn't tasty at all, and we paid 70 euros. It's not safe for families with children.
