Amazing hotel, service is so warm, friendly and they will make sure you are happy checking in this hotel. Will recommend this to everyone that loves comfort, breath taking views of Taal Volcano and great food. The only thing I don’t like to see in this beautiful hotel are guest that have breakfast in their pj’s. We are in a hotel not home. Manners still prevail no matter what
We had a great staycation at Escala. The infinity pool and view of Taal were what made the whole experience and were the reason for choosing to stay there. The beds were comfortable and large enough for three persons. The breakfast buffet was also decent, with enough options. In terms of an area for future improvement, the gym is outdated and lacking
Positives: Nice enough hotel. Friendly staff. Great views. Infinity pool. Good location. Negatives: Overpriced (perhaps Mother's day weekend rate hikes). Poor quality food. The buffet breakfast is really disappointing and really lets down the overall experience. They even want to charge extra for a cappuccino at breakfast despite the high room rates. Conclusion: They should take more pride in their food. Will I return? Probably not.
