Eshel Mansion

The hotel is basically 6 units set up around an interior patio. We stayed 2 nights in the Negev unit. The bedroom and sitting room were tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable. The king-size bed very comfortable. Shower/bathroom in contemporary setting, all clean, plenty of room and hot water. The patio is lovely, and includes a hot tub (which we did not use). Plenty of parking just across the street. The owner, Amichai, was very helpful and personable. Located within 10 min drive from nice sections, such as the BGU campus, hi-tec center, and a spacious lake park (Not to be missed!). The only downside is the surrounding neighborhood, which is run down, with piles of garbage, and noise during the day (public transportation). Still, I would recommend walking around to see the historical building.

Lovely place to stay in. We had the ocean suite and I would highly recommend it. The interior was very warm and welcoming with a soft bed to accompany the suite. The bathroom was rather large and matches the ocean theme. It was clean when we got there. Although it is a self check-in principe, there is no need to feel unwelcome. The host made sure we were alright via mobile phone and we could ask him anything at anytime. When we left, his brother was there who made sure everything was alright and even gave us cold water for our trip home. All in all, beautiful place!

Located in the old city, so not "classy" but quaint and cozy. Hot tub in an enclosed patio, surrounded by six rooms total. Hot water in the shower. Self-check-in, contact manager by email.
