Rooms are very comfortable there is high ceiling with great mattress quality. The bathroom is fully equipped with shower and large bathtub and washlet. There are customary drinks offeeed in mini bar as well as some fruit for no extra charge. Friendly staff available. View on park is great and silent.
Staff are incredible. Location amazing. Really the difference for me is the staff. They made our whole stay effortless. Not seen this this level of service since the Mandarin Oriental in HK back in 2005. Crushes the Shangri-la and W in Taipei. All my streaming services were available on the TV which made my kids super happy on the rainy days. Looking forward to my next visit.
Condescending front desk. Attitude from concierge varied. Hotel looks good on photos. Practicality is extremely lacking. No outlet in bathroom. Not even on the desk nor the bedside. Outlet plugs are located under the tv with limited space to put traveler plugs in. No full body mirror. It looks nice to look at. Definitely way worst than Muji hotel. I stayed to compare the two. For Muji hotel, the rating would be 9/10. This is 2/10. I don’t feel welcomed. No one smiles here. Nor with courteous attitude. I like the interior colors and that’s about it. I kinda feel like it embodies certain cultural identity of Taiwanese people. Very showy and class entitlement. Both aren’t very appreciative in international standard. One of the hotels that rank on the bottom level if not the worst because of the price point as well as the staff management. With a little upgrade on the interior amenities and a full makeover for a whole line of staff, this will definitely a Taiwan proud but as for now, definitely not.
