Our stay at Esperides Hotel in Skiathos was a wonderful experience of comfort and genuine island hospitality. Its prime location, right on the seafront, offers stunning views and the tranquility one seeks during a holiday. The architecture and outdoor areas blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings, while the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the facilities enhance the overall sense of relaxation. Among the staff, housekeeper Valentina stood out for her kindness and integrity. Although she did not speak English, her warm presence and constant smile made it clear that she was dedicated to providing the best possible service.

Room 805. Right on the front low level. Easy access from the pool area and onto the beach. Rooms perfectly adequate although a little dark due to the wood finish. Bathroom is Greek. Needs modernising but no complaints. All worked and even has a hairdryer on the wall. Did the job and plenty of hot water. Balcony Perfect size. Hotel location bus stop 10. 2 very good restaurants on the beach. Plus one of the best beach front bars on the Island. Mojo seaside bar. Breakfast okay, It does the job and plenty of choice, no complaints. We didn’t use the evening meal as we ate out. Daily room cleaned. Friendly staff. No evening entertainment. Pool / sea front bar serves drinks all day and into the night but was always empty. This was in July 2025. Loads of space to park a hire car although not needed really as there is a bus stop at the entrance , bus stop 10. Plus the water taxi €4 on way into the old port which is perfect. We did this most days and got the last bus back at 1am. This hotel is a little dated compared to some of the modern looking hotels. However you can tell that in its day this was a grand hotel. The quality and finish of the decor is of a high standard. List of marble and wood. It would have looked impressive back in the day and still holds some elegance even today just dated. The location especially room 805 or block 8 by the beach is probably the best. For an action packed family holiday this isn’t the hotel. Somber atmosphere around the hotel. You make your own entertainment here. But this is fine due to its location. Sun and beachfront location with all the amenities you need for a fantastic beach holiday. Sea is 21 degrees and beach has a life guard so safe for a swim and water sports rentals. Great views and beach, sunbeds cost €15 for 2 beds and an umbrella. Limited beds around the pool area. Maybe around 20 for a large hotel is low so be early. Gates to the pool open about 8am and the area is cleaned daily. I’d stay here again no questions. Great base with everything you need and a balcony view to die for, day or night. 😍

Room very basic but clean & adequate. However, no coffee/tea making facilities. Toilet constantly filling. Drawer on dressing table broke. Dining room...staff miserable, no ambience, food...bloody disgusting! Cold, no proper discription of what was in the trays. Mostly tinned food. Fresh fruit & veg on this island but you wouldn't know it. Breakfast fruit is tinned fruit cocktail. Sausages..tinned small hot dog sausages. Soggy batter on fish. Trays full of food that resembled mush. Desserts..no variety, same old fake cream cake stuff. To add insult to injury, food always barely luke warm. Staff wandered around like sentry's with barely a glance never mind a smile. No jugs for milk, had to use a cup or glass. Coffee pots plastic. No entertainment at hotel at all! Had to go to bars next door, where there was music at least & staff were friendly. To sum up, I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. We spoke to other guests who felt the same & we had all complained to our reps
