Very low value for money, no services at all available (lobby is non-existing, for swimming pool / SPA / restaurant / anything else you need to get to Essenza Hotel.. they are not available in Essenza Dune). Staff do not speak a single word of English, which is quite unexpected in a 5-stars structure. Rooms are rather old with poor maintenance level.

This is not a 5-star hotel. Two stars for the fact that the room was clean and spaceous. Three lost stars because: we received some information after the check in (in the most primitive reception ever: outside, just a table and two chairs) about tours and massages via WhatsApp. No info about where the breakfast would be. Via Google translate, a cleaning lady who happened to pass by told us we had to go to the Essenza hotel at the beach front. Breakfast is not better than in a 3-star hotel. Juices are kept in questionable reservoirs. The worst part is the swimming pool, which urgently needs renovation. The water was not clean and there where props like a wooden raft in the water. Not nice at all if you want to swim. The shower next to the swimming pool is broken. Not nice when your room is 10 min walk from there. The wood and paint looks like it was all made 30 years ago. The swimming pool is located at the Essenza hotel at the beach, so we have to take our stuff there, drop it on a chair and hope that no one who passes by on the beach would take our stuff while we were swimming. Not a relaxing enironmenent. Certainly not with pop music constantly playing. The private swimming pool is too cold to swim in. The room is so spaceous that it takes a while for the airco to cool the room. No complementary bottle of water. No sun on the terrace. The toilet did not flush well. We have travelled in Brazil and experienced that toilets are not always flushing well, but the one here really topped our experiences. No one in the hotel speaks English. Come on guys, if you advertise yourself as a 5-star hotel, someone should be able to speak English. So: improvement is required when this hotel wants to be in the category of 3+ star hotels.

Was sold a room that didnt exist beware as once your there you have little choice in where to go as it's so isolated. You also have to pay now just to enter. Its destroyed the whole experience just a money grab
