We enjoyed a very relaxing and pleasant weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary here! The staff were all very nice and extremely accommodating. The setting is so picturesque and beautiful. The hotel and lobby are warm and welcoming. We had delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals - all vegan! We would have appreciated some newer/firmer mattresses, but otherwise, everything was lovely.

What a charming hotel in the most stunning location. Loved and enjoyed our stay. So tranquil and beautiful gardens with free mini golf which we enjoyed. We enjoyed petting Oskar the grey cat who was very friendly and affectionate. Enjoyed our set menu for €22.50 with good value food and service. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate our request. Breakfast was good. We stayed for 3 nights and it was rejuvenating. The view from the room was stunning. My advice to those disappointed by the view is to pay for it or request it . Just beware a couple of things - it’s a traditional hotel so don’t expect modern decor. I found this charming to be honest. I do agree the mattresses are quite old and you can feel the springs. The doors do slam which you can hear at night. The parking may be difficult at evenings once the car park is full (we got woken up at 3am because we had to move our car for someone else). Regardless it was a very peaceful experience and we enjoyed our birthday celebration there.

We had a great stay! And were happy with the comfortable, quiet and reasonably private room. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The issue we had with the mattress was solved right away the day after. I'd definitely recommend this picturesque hotel to couples with a car.
