Estelar Santamar Hotel & Centro De Convenciones

I had a wonderful and pleasant time at the hotel, I celebrated my birthday and I was surprised by a peace of cake Saturday noon that was a very special detail. Breakfasts were top for me I loved them. The staff is friendly, nice, very attentive to whatever is need. The beach area is perfect to chill out I really enjoyed the playlist, so calm and perfect to get relax. There is an activity every day for kids and adults. I definitely want to come back soon!

Wonderful hotel, love the bungalows! Walk out your door and the pool, bar and beach are right there! Probably the best and nicest beach access of any hotel in the area, I stayed multiple times in the past, it seems like they are cutting corners to save money, have to ask to have hot water turned on on the room, some if the hotel restroom are closed or broken urinals, at dinner one night got our dessert before the meal! Just such a beautiful beach access!

The rooms need updating, particularly for the price. Service, while attentive, appears to lack flexibility and speed. They are very quick to highlight what you may not do, but slow at asking if you need something. Having a swim up bar, with built in seats, but not be allowed to drink in the pool was a very silly policy and prevents people from really relaxing at the pool. The food was mediocre at best. We ate there 3 times and agreed the best thing was the juice. Prices were too high for the quality. The location and beach were awesome. That saves this place. It needs updating and retraining on customer focus.
