Estepona Hotel & Spa Resort

Beautiful hotel and location right on the beach. Staff all lovely especially Antonina front of house at restaurant. They offer you a package on arrival of €89 which includes an allowance of €33 each for one meal other than breakfast, either lunch or dinner, car parking (on site car park is €20 per night, mini bar of six soft drinks a day and entry to spa which is €10 a time. However, we had a car and stocked up at local Aldi for lunches and drinks but also had drinks and ate every day on site and spent about £450 for an eight night stay. Also, there is free parking on the road outside hotel and we never found a problem parking but then we were there last two weeks in June and it wasn't busy. Never used the spa. We found the food good but a bit limited. We drove into Estepona port and had a meal for a change. It is the most relaxing place, it wasn't at all busy and we were worried how they make money to be honest as there were more staff than guests. Had some lovely walks along the seafront, it is so unspoilt and pretty.

A very lovely resort - pool area beautiful and lots of space around all the chairs. No need to reserve a deckchair. Staff so friendly and kind- nothing was too much trouble. Has a lovely relaxed feel.- beach so near. Close to the port. Really recommend - rooms very spacious too. A great stay

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. This hotel is a disgrace, please don’t waste your money on this appalling place. Service & experience is like a hostel, prices are like it’s a palace. A 4* hotel should have basics covered - they should clean your room daily, for example. That is NOT included here, you have to pay extra fees to have your bins emptied, your bed made etc. £30 extra a night, for that. Even in the most basic of hostels, this kind of thing is included. In this place, it’s an opportunity to make more money. Want to use the gym? You have to buy water, because there isn’t any way of staying hydrated otherwise. Want a beach towel? You have to give a card to receive a towel, but there is NEVER a member of staff manning the towels. A morning coffee to your room? Forget it, you have to collect it from reception. Farcical. Want a taxi? Good luck - the reception are so incompetent that despite requesting one 90 minutes in advance, they forgot. And we then missed our dinner reservation because the next one took 45 minutes to show up. Security is also very lax - the main entrance to our room building didn’t have a proper lock so it was easily accessible without a key card. Huge risk for young families. The staff are lacking initiative, very chaotic and none would survive 24 hours in any other European 4* hotel. Almost funny, if it wasn’t so eye wateringly expensive.
