Estrela Do Mar Beach Resort A Beach Property Goa

Estrela Do Mar offers excellent beach access, putting you just a short walk from the shore. This convenient location is definitely a major plus for the property. Its rooms are modest but functional, providing a comfortable, no-frills stay. This is an excellent choice for families and large groups. The pool area has significantly improved, now larger and featuring a jacuzzi. Breakfast remains a highlight, offering a great variety of options for all tastes. The beach felt noticeably cleaner, less noisy, and less crowded, likely due to the monsoon season. The staff, especially Ajay, were exceptionally courteous and kind.

I recently visited Estrela Do Mar. This was my second visit after many years and considering there are so many good properties in Goa now, I was apprehensive if the standards of property are as still as good as earlier and was I pleasantly surprised. Property offers great stay for families and big groups. Pool has become so much better and bigger with an addition of jacuzzi. Breakfast is still equally great with a variety of options for everyone. The best part about Estrela Do Mar is still its proximity to beach- which seemed so much cleaner, less noisier and crowded this time around (probably due to monsoon season). Raj and couple of other staff members were extremely courteous and kind. Overall, another great stay at Estrela Do Mar and looking forward to the next time.

The resort is a beautiful beachside property with quick and easy access to a peaceful, less-crowded beach. It’s family-friendly, featuring two play areas for kids, and the taxi stand right at the resort gate makes hiring taxis or scooties very convenient. The pool area is scenic, and the jacuzzi is quite relaxing. One of the highlights of the stay was the live music—classical performances during breakfast and a live singer at dinner. I especially enjoyed the soothing flute and tabla sessions, which made the experience memorable. On the downside, the breakfast spread felt limited compared to other properties in a similar range. We had booked a deluxe room, which unfortunately did not meet expectations, mainly due to a persistent unpleasant smell. Despite informing housekeeping, the issue wasn’t resolved, as spraying freshener didn’t really help. That being said, the overall experience was still pleasant, and I would consider staying here again in the future.
