Great value for the price and amenities! The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and it’s very conveniently located to the festival (Rototom) - just a short 15 min drive to Benicassim or the beach :) Parking is available as well in their underground garage for €10 a day which is pretty reasonable. They also offer free breakfast, which is 7AM to 10:30 AM weekdays and 7AM to 11AM on weekends. We unfortunately didn’t get a chance to enjoy it as it was quite early for us since we would be returning quite late from the festival.
It’s in a central location opposite the bus station, they do have parking underground for an additional 10€, which is good value. The room was clean , comfortable , and quiet. The bathroom was spacious and included a bath with overhead shower. We had breakfast included as we had never been to Castellón before. The breakfast was a mix of typical Spanish fare and eggs and bacon. There was plenty of choice, it’s a self service buffet so if you arrive at a busy time it may be a bit chaotic! We didn’t eat in the hotel other than breakfast, but found a good variety of places within an easy walk.
This hotel is supposed to be 4 star. Don’t know who gave them that rating As it didn’t deserve anything near 4 stars. They are obviously short staffed One person operating reception, the bar and cafe. The food wasn’t fit for a dog and was only like warm. And they served up the same food every night and only three choices for the main course and the same cake, which was dry served up every night for dessert with no choice. No ice cream or cream to make the dry cake more palatable. Dining room staff standing chatting and not one table cleared so we were subjected to other guests dirty leftovers. The food didn’t even deserve 2 stars and I know one person refused to eat it after paying for half board. and so went out to eat. The bathroom seemed to have had a revamp but although the rooms were clean the furniture was very damaged and tired. The lift refused to move if there were more than three ppl in it. And dinner wasn’t served until 8-30 Overall a bad experience.
