Eurostars Gran Madrid

I stayed in this hotel for several nights as part of a business trip. The room was very comfortable and clean. The little extra in the room: sweets as a welcome gift. The hotel restaurant is also very pleasant and offers a nice menu of various dishes. A very good address even if there is nothing to do around it.

The hotel is nice and clean with good extensive breakfast. It also has free parking and good eats nearby but the rooms really have very thin walls, you can constantly hear people in next room and in corridor late into night. The guy in room next to us had TV on till 2 am, finally I had to call the service desk to call them to lower the volume or close it, even then it took 40 mins for the guy to shut the tv. Very disappointed with spl after a long flight. Otherwise rooms and bath clean and well equipped.

I booked a 28M² room at Hotel Eurostars Grand Madrid for 155 euros a night that included breakfast. Rates during the summer high season can vary significantly from 90 to 160 euros a night. I would not pay more than 140 euros a night. The strengths of the hotel include: A. large comfortable beds B. super fast room cleaning C. location (a 20 euros taxi drive from the airport in a green, quiet residential neighbourhood next to a tech hub) D. friendly front desk staff The weaknesses of the hotel include: 1. weak wifi 2. no food or beverage service after breakfast 3 soft pillows 4. no area in the lobby to work from 5. gym with very limited equipment outside of running machines 6. CNN & Bloomberg cable TV channels do not work 6. Very poor noise insulation in the walls (i can hear the conversations and sneezing from the room next door) The service was excellent and the front desk staff was proactive. When booking I requested a high floor with a view and a large bed. That is exactly what I got. Special recognition to the room cleaning staff, that are incredibly efficient, friendly and do a top job.
