Great hotel in a central location, just a 15 minute up-hill walk to The Alhambra. The front desk concierge, David, was so kind and helpful by recommending nearby restaurants and booking our transportation. On our way out, he even remembered that I had mentioned how much I enjoyed the welcome candy in our room and prepped a little “to-go bag” of the gummies to gift me. These are free to grab in the hotel lobby but it’s that kind of attention to detail that makes all the difference! Thank you Eurostars Gran Via Hotel and David for the wonderful hospitality!

Great location for tourists, situated between the old town and the newer part of the city. Just a few minutes’ walk from the Masjid, with views of the Alhambra, and only a short taxi ride to its main entrance. Check-in was smooth but did take longer than expected. The staff parked our car for us, which was convenient. The rooms were clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, with quality toiletries provided. On arrival, we found sweets and chocolates placed on the beds, and the lobby offered a refreshing lemon drink along with sweets, which was a nice touch. They have steamer rather than an iron in the room. We stayed for one night and overall had a pleasant experience. However, I gave 4 stars with some hesitation due to the lack of proactive assistance with luggage. In other hotels, staff typically help with luggage from the car to the room and vice versa without needing to be asked. Here, assistance was available, but only upon request. I’m not sure if this is standard practice in Spain, but it stood out in comparison, hence the 4 stars and in my opinion this is a 4 star hotel.

Because this is supposedly a five-star hotel, I have high expectations. Definitely an amazing location and that’s probably the best part. Very cool wow-factor when you walk in the hotel that displays the historical aspect of this historic town. The rooms are alright. Nothing crazy and nothing I would really consider 5 stars. I prefer a regular Aloft hotel room over these rooms. Room had two bottles of water, and room service did not replenish our supply the next day. There is a mini fridge full of drinks and snacks that you can purchase if you would like. Bathroom seems to have unintuitive design. Not really a fan, but it does have a separate shower and bathtub which is nice I guess. The shower head fell off when someone in my group was trying to shower. That could have caused an injury. Not very five-star quality. Breakfast is not included, it’s 16 euros for some very mid-tier food. Nothing was really that good for breakfast. I recommend walking a little ways to a Starbucks or local café for breakfast. There also isn’t a gym here. You have to walk a minute to another hotel that has a gym, which closes at 11pm. Denied our late checkout request. Hotel staff is nice though.
