Top notch hotel with excellent service and comprehensive breakfast buffet. This is a conservative, old school establishment but the rooms are very comfortable. Hotels in Spain can be unpredictable but this was spot on. Would stay again.
Regal hotel with stunning views. Loved staying at this historical hotel with a privileged position overlooking Santander. Good location an easy walk to both sides of Santander—the harbor and Sardinero beach. There are also two cozy beaches directly below the hotel. Our third floor room was clean and spacious and had astonishing views across the bay. Comfortable bed, well-maintained and clean bathroom. Breakfast was extensive and fresh and service was excellent. The fitness room is in a separate building from the main hotel. It’s large and had lots of weights, machines, and yoga mats. Only thing that seemed off about the hotel was that there is no doorman to greet you upon arrival, which 5 star hotels almost always have. But that was a small issue that did not mar an otherwise excellent stay.
This is a beautiful historic hotel in Santander. The rooms are comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast has a variety of fresh fruit, salad, and pastries.
