Stayed at the St. Gregory for a conference early in the week, mid-summer, and had a fabulous time. Location is perfect and the team went above and beyond throughout. I was able to check in early, and the valet handled the car so there was no parking stress. The room was spacious and well appointed, and super clean. I didn't get to check out the bar or restaurant because the conference took up most if not all of the time I was there, but I was able to walk to good spots for food, drinks, craft beer, even a delicious breakfast sandwich. Hotel was quiet - the air conditioner did come on rather loudly and wake me a few minutes before my alarm, but that wasn't a huge deal. There was a crazy rain storm, and my room didn't have an umbrella, so the bellman was kind enough to let me borrow his own personal one so I could get to my reservation - wow! My wife and I will be staying at the St. Gregory next time we are in town for sure - great spot!

Hands down the best hotel I have stayed at. This trip to D.C. was back in September 2024 and here I am still thinking about how wonderful this hotel was in April 2025. It was just that good and I really do hope it stays that way. First, the location is PERFECT. Many wonderful places to eat & sights to see are within a walking distance. It was also very safe! Honestly you need to worry more about the drivers than anything else (but honestly what else do you expect while in Maryland, LOL). My boyfriend and I even walked around late night (around midnight) for food and still felt relatively safe. We were also pleasantly surprised by how active the area still is at night. People were out and about walking, getting food and just doing whatever. I loved that. Second, this hotel is so pleasing to the eyes. The décor is so warm and welcoming with touches of classy everywhere. Our hotel room was perfect. The room was completely clean and spacious, I was grateful for the mini fridge, the bathroom was wonderful, the bed was comfy, I loved the extended space in the room that had its own section with chairs and a tv.. just amazing. The staff was extremely friendly! I loved the food vouchers for the hotel's restaurant that we were given for each day. The food was also EXCELLENT. The food was on the pricey side, but I guess that is to be expected for a fancy restaurant to begin with and at least the food was delicious and the voucher was enough to cover something. Our server was so sweet, engaged in conversation with us about multiple things and gave us pointers on where we could go in the area. This hotel was everything you could want and more in a hotel in terms of location, service, cleanliness and quality. This hotel will always be my go to for whenever I'm back in DC for as long as it keeps this up.

Our stay here was great! This hotel is in an ideal location in DC. The room was nice, large, and a king bed. The drawback was the bath had a single vanity, but pretty common for hotels of this age. The bar in the lobby served drinks in the evening and breakfast through the breakfast and brunch hours. The food was good, the coffee delicious, and the service was superb. They have valet parking. If you go to the garage watch your head, the ceilings are low. The elevators were clean and quick, not noisy.
