Euvodia Luxury Rooms

Cannot recommend highly enough. Location is perfect, right on the edge of the Sassi, with many restaurants, supermarket and fresh food market on your doorstep. Rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable; only negative thing I can say is that it was slightly on the small side. Host was lovely, made us coffee and gave us snacks upon arrive and took the time to explain everything about the accommodation and the area/ sights in great detail. Must stay if visiting Matera!

We got married recently and booked our honeymoon in Puglia, Italy. Our first stop was Matera and we stayed at Euvodia Luxury Rooms. All I can say that it was a very pleasant stay. Few days before check in they sent us a WhatsApp message explaining how to get there and the parking situation. When we got there we were greeted with Champaign as a celebration for the marriage! The hosts, Maria Teresa and Barbara were amazing, kind and generous. Barbara called up about 5 tuktuk companies to take us around Matera even though it was last minute. She was very knowledgeable about Matera’s history and told us about where to go and what to see. The room itself was very very comfortable and spacious. We had everything we needed. It has some old elements mixed with new making it the perfect combination for a romantic stay in Matera. Honestly I highly recommend staying there because the hosts are amazing, the location is perfect and the rooms are fabulous.

Absolutely fantastic! Large, modern, beautiful room with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Extremely clean and comfortable bed.
