Eventhotel Pyramide

Fine hotel, rooms and food were good, but some strange things: - no wifi in the rooms - no handles on the furniture, so we can't use the drawers - we were not permitted to use the pool. Could easily be a lot nicer.

The hotel's equipment, furnishings, room size, cleanliness, and staff service are all excellent. However, the breakfast is very mediocre, even bad. Another downside is its distance from the center of Vienna. Its location is out of town. I wouldn't stay here again unless I absolutely have to.

The whole place is very large and built like a maze, so it's very difficult to find the rooms. My room was decent, but someone I am traveling with with got a room with mold in the bathroom. Another issue is that there is no accessability in the bathrooms, they have tubs, but the bottom is slippery and there are no handrails to hold onto. The blankets are very slim as well, you can barely cover yourself if you lay like a mummy. When I asked about laundry, their prices are absurdly expensive, ranging from €4~€11 *per article*. More of note is that, while I was sleeping with the do not disturb door sign on the door handle, an, and I assume and hope, staff member entered my room and started opening the closet, waking me and leaving when I told him I was here. Finally, when I went to ask the bar for a cup of hot water to make tea, the staff was incredibly rude and refused to sell me a cup of hot water, even though they sold a single cup of hot water to another person I'm traveling with for just one euro the night before. "Apparently" there were new rules implemented over night, and they could only sell a teapot of hot water for six entire euros, which is still only about 2 teacups of hot water. Absolutely horrible service, overly expensive prices, and very, very rude. As I keep re-reading my review, I just keep remembering more and more things they have done. Do not stay here.
