Excellent location; really can walk to any attraction in less than 20-30 mins. Very quiet at night and very good staffs. Rooms are good size and clean.
The location is excellent - just a short walk from Váci Street and the Jewish Quarter. Breakfast was rich, fresh, and delicious, and the service was very good. While there were a few minor maintenance issues (like a non-working light bulb and not enough towels upon arrival), overall it was a very positive experience. Highly recommended!
I stayed at Exe Hotels Budapest and was shocked by the poor condition of the hotel. This is nowhere near the level of a 4-star hotel, and it completely ruined the experience. • The toilet didn’t flush — completely unacceptable. Reported it, but no one fixed it. • Floors were dirty, with stains, footprints, and dust clearly visible. • Furniture was old and damaged – the chair was stained, and the phone in the bathroom was broken with exposed wires. • Curtains were full of holes and badly wrinkled, letting in light and looking very cheap. • Staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, not willing to help or even listen to complaints. This hotel is run down, poorly maintained, and the service is terrible. It might look okay in photos, but the reality is very different. Save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere. This place does not deserve its 4-star rating.
