Exe Convention Plaza Madrid

Room was big and comfy, but the bathroom was awkward. Toilet was so close to the wall, my knees wouldn't fit. Also, there is no barrier between the shower and the bathroom, so water sprays everywhere and gets everything wet.

I'm complaining about your receptionist, Jennifer, from Cuba, being racist. I came to your hotel with 2 of my workmates to check in at around 16:30 on 2nd April due to regional meeting. I was assigned to 104 on the ground floor, and 2 of my workmates (Filippo and Leonardo, we are from Italy, and they were assigned to upstairs, not ground floor). I found that I cannot access to the Wifi, and I requested to chang my room after I enter 104 for few minutes. I was told by Jennifer that they can fix the WiFi access issue. After the attempt of technical expert in 104 for a few minutes, he declared that it was not possible to fix the access issue, therefore I was assigned to new room, whose number is 605. The whole process took around 50 minutes (special experience when I travel within EU for the 1st time). Please note that I was on a business negotiation with my clients, and the negotiation was affected by the WiFi access issue, and the damages is under assessment. You may check the video of the lobby, if you have it. I reserve the right to claim the losses I suffered due to to Wifi access issue. For room No. 605, there is a wooden door in the room shared with 606, I can hear almost everything happening in 606, which impacts my rest. On 3rd April, a Chinese workmate (Chinese, with the name of Weilin) form Swaziland, who attend this meeting as well, went back to Exe Convention Plaza together with, when we say goodbye at the lobby, he told me that he was assigned to the ground floor. Therefore, I strongly recommend the management of this hotel investigate the incident carefully. Why are both Chinese guests are assigned to ground floor at the 1st check in? Is there discrimination? Please note that we have quite many workmates who participate the meeting held in Madrid. We can have a analysis on that, who choose your hotel. My question is why Chinese/ Asian were arranged on the ground floor? I'm doubting that there's racial discrimination in this hotel, therefore I hope the management of this hotel can investigate and give a reply. Thank you.

there was no bathroom door to hide whenever someone was in the shower. Additionally, the running water was BROWN, as well as the water in the toilet .The additional single bed was too uncomfortable for everyone’s liking . I will never be coming back in this hotel ever again.
