Stayed here for 4 nights in June. The location was excellent. Rooms were nice; I never had breakfast here, because there was a lot of options just outside the door. Overall it was fantastic.
The only good thing is the location. The rooms are barely ok. The water pressure is weak. There are mice in the walls which scratch and squeak. I had cigarette smoke coming into my room from the AC unit. I complained multiple times to the reception. There was someone smoking in their room next to mine. Even though it's illegal the reception didn't do anything about it. They just moved me to another room. Even in the new room smoke periodically came in through the bathroom ventilation. For this price this is unacceptable. I'm never booking another of their hotels. Avoid at all costs, there are many better options in the city, don't fall for the 4 stars.
The AC does NOT work in this hotel. When you walk in the front door you think it’s a nice hotel but when u get up to your room, you will be met with hot temperatures and barely blowing AC and not working fridge. I can get over the old style of hotel, but with no AC it’s basically and old firey pit of hell. Would not recommend to anyone if they enjoy being cold after a long day in the summer heat.
