Explorar Koh Phangan Adults Only Resort and Spa

We had a wonderful week stay at Explorar Koh Phangan! A special thanks to restaurant extraordinaire Tamk, Ben, Phyto, Lek, Joe for the rum tasting and Kim for remembering our coffee order with a smile :) The bed was set up for our honeymoon and it was lovely. We will do a review of the restaurant separately but it was great and so convenient. Pool was lovely and well maintained and a fun happy hour every day and free shots offered around the pool but did not have a crazy party atmosphere. We chose to upgrade our room and couldn’t have been happier it was clean, modern and no mould (which is something we have experienced a lot through SEA). Thank you to the team for finishing off our honeymoon so well!

The restaurant and the bar deserve a separate compliment. Every dish we tried was amazing and we were never disappointed and wanted to come back and try more. All the types of curry were amazing. The pizzas were wow!!! - a good competition to pizzas in best Italians. The staff were very great and attentive. Overall, great experience in the hotel. We were happy with the stay. Also, kuddos to the gardener for maintaining such a nice paradise!

I & my family had a truly unforgettable stay at Explorar Koh Phangan! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and genuine smiles. The atmosphere is the perfect balance of laid-back luxury—ideal for relaxing, recharging, and connecting with nature. The rooms were beautifully designed, modern yet cozy, with every detail thoughtfully curated for comfort. We especially loved the beachfront view and how peaceful the surroundings were. The pool area was stunning, and the beach just steps away made every morning feel like a dream. Special shoutout to managers K.Nong and Yannick and the staffs—Yok & June, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Also Tank's team (Khin, Aung & Ya)The food at the restaurant was delicious with a great variety, and the cocktails at sunset were a highlight of each evening. Explorar Koh Phangan is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience. We can't wait to return!
