The hotel is beautifully designed with a modern tropical aesthetic, set right on a stunning, peaceful beach. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully appointed, the pool is divine, and the overall atmosphere is just the right mix of chill and chic. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the people. The staff here are absolutely exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to the incredible bartenders Minn Htet and Harry, who not only made the best cocktails on the island, but also added joy and personality to every evening with their energy and good humor. We also want to give a heartfelt shoutout to Garfield and Win, two of the kindest and most graceful waitresses we’ve ever met. Their smiles, care, and attention to detail made every meal and moment feel special. The food at Explorar’s restaurant is simply outstanding. Every dish is beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and crafted with clear attention to quality. While some might consider the prices slightly higher than other local spots, it’s absolutely worth it — here, you never have to second-guess the cleanliness, freshness, or ingredients. You can just relax and enjoy the experience, knowing you’re in expert hands. From breakfast to dinner, every bite was a pleasure. Explorar isn’t just a beautiful hotel — it’s a place where you feel truly seen and welcomed. We left with sun-kissed skin, happy hearts, and memories we’ll cherish. Can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the explorer. The rooms and pool area is amazing. The bar staff made our entire experience and every time we left we couldn’t wait to get back. Kevin and freye the chefs made a massive effort to chat to us about local food and the menus and accommodated our nut allergy very well when communicated properly. Our stay at Explorar Koh Samui was a perfect 5/5 stars! The room with a private pool was phenomenal. The staff went above and beyond, big thanks to Nat, Min Min, Aung, Andy, Win, Soe Moe, and JT. The menu was very good, and the Thai night dinner was amazing. Breakfast was incredibly versatile with so many options, and the bar by the pool was great. We truly appreciated the free airport transport and the convenience of free shuttle buses to Fisherman's Market. The tour packages were superb, including trips to Pig Island, Pink dolphins, and zipline. Plus, consistent housekeeping kept our room perfect. Highly recommend!
