It’s a budget friendly hotel, however, everything was top notch. Didn’t really expect this level of service. It’s very family friendly hotel with a focus on exploring nature, biking etc. The breakfast had many healthy choices, a couple of quite unique things (like taking a pan and making your own omelette etc). The rooms are not too big but clean and have all that you need. The location is quiet and close to all main attractions. There’s a small river behind the hotel, so you can get this naturally calming sound when you sleep. We really liked this hotel.
We had a great stay at Explorer Hotel in Bad Kleinkirchheim, Austria. The hotel has a modern, minimalist vibe that’s perfect for those looking for a comfortable and laid-back experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, and designed for relaxation, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. While we didn’t use the wellness area, we did notice a bike station inside the hotel, which is an added bonus for anyone biking through the area and needing repairs. Breakfast was a highlight—there was an omelet station where you could cook your own omelets, and you could also choose to soft, medium, or hard boil your own eggs, which was a rarity and made breakfast even more fun. It’s always great when a hotel has those little extra touches to make your stay more memorable.
Everyone working there: top notch. The lady managing it seemed to be flying all around the hotel and was very nice to everyone, so was all staff. Only complaint I have is the A/C situation. There is none. We opened the window/door but the people below us kept vaping every few minutes throughout the night and the smell was horrible. Nothing the hotel can fix, but on top of the smell we had mosquitos (next to a small river). It was not a restful night to say the least. We tried to find ways around it but having an A/C would have been fantastic on one of the hottest days of the year. Breakfast included, absolutely top notch. Parking also perfect (although it weirdly and arbitrarily costs 1 EUR).
