If you're looking for a place to stay while visiting the Wells Fargo Arena, then this is the place for you. It is truly across the street, and you not only have convenience of just walking over, but your vehicle is parked in the hotel lot so no parking worries either. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the facility was clean, and the rooms nicely sized with a large bathroom. I gave the rooms 4 stars only because the HVAC was a little difficult to regulate and a bit noisy, but that was minor. No issues with hot water or pressure. They have a free (well, you know) breakfast in the lobby bar, and it has a good variety of cereals, fruits, yogurt, eggs, sausage and drinks. Overall a great experience, and we would certainly stay again.
Staff was very helpful, rooms were spacious, proximity to the Hyvee Center was amazing! Breakfast was great, also.
Room was well kept and clean. Modern and updated. Location was easy to get to and close to everything we needed. The only major complaint was the complementary breakfast which consisted of what appeared to be powdered scrambled eggs that were swimming in Luke warm water. Luke warm sausage patties that were still partially frozen in the middle and pre-packaged hard boiled eggs that appeared yellow and unappetizing. And a crock pot with runny oatmeal. There was some fresh fruit. The serving station was mess, spilled cereal and oatmeal everywhere. It looked as if some kids had a food fight before I got down there. There was a waffle station, however there was no batter except for the puddles of it all over the counter. For the short time I was in there, I saw several other guests walk in, shake their heads, and walk out. Normally this wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, since the room was excellent, but when you are banking on utilizing that complementary breakfast as part of your planned day, so you don't have to look for a separate offsite breakfast option when you have an itinerary to keep... it really was a pain. Now we had to cut into our planned day and try to squeeze in breakfast somewhere else that wasn't budgeted or planned for.
