From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. The room was absolutely stunning, spacious, beautifully designed and immaculately clean throughout our stay. I especially appreciated how much natural light filled the space and the attention to detail in every corner. Access to the Gold Lounge was such a treat. It felt like a hidden gem, peaceful, luxurious, and the perfect place to relax or grab a bite between plans. Speaking of food, the dining options across the hotel were fantastic. Everything we tried was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The spa deserves a special mention. It’s one of the best wellness experiences I’ve had at any hotel. Everything from the design to the treatments was thoughtfully curated and left us feeling completely rejuvenated. The location is another huge plus. Being steps away from Westfield Century City made shopping and dining outside the hotel incredibly easy, while still feeling tucked away in a calm, elegant pocket of the city. Fairmont Century Plaza blends classic luxury with modern comfort in the best way. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Stayed for 5 nights last month, and found it to be a very curious bipolar experience. On one hand, the rooms were very comfortable and offered the expected luxury features and finishes for a hotel of this caliber. The restaurant and lobby lounge facilities were also well designed, stylish and gave a good impression. On the other hand, there were a series of serious service failures that continued throughout the stay. It seemed to me a combination of understaffing (especially front desk, with consistent long waits) and under-training (housekeeping kept missing obvious things that needed attention). Would only stay there again if someone else was paying.

Very nice, new, modern hotel in a great location with a few serious issues that need to be ironed out. I stayed here 3 times for about a week each during the last few months and here are some of the things that really need to be improved: 1. Most important: The hotel internet and WiFi is extremely spotty and slow. Despite charging an extra $10/day for premium internet, the connection is so slow that video calls or video streaming is not possible (see photo). This should be a dealbreaker for all business travelers. 2. I encountered serious billing issues during multiple occasions which border on fraudulent behavior (e.g. parking charges for 8 days on a 5 night stay, minibar charges for food/drinks I didn’t have). 3. I‘m driving an EV and asked 7 times on 7 different days at the valet when I dropped off my car whether they could charge it. Every time they said yes, they never charged it once. Never happened to me at any other hotel in LA. 4. The front desk seems to be chronically understaffed (never saw more than one person there) so wait times can be long. When calling the front desk I would get put on hold, be asked to leave a message and then never receive a call back. 5. For some reason housekeeping changes the thermostat (every day) to 61 F, which means the room is an ice box when I come back in the evening. Strangely, this only happened the second and third time I stayed here. 6. I found dirty socks from a prior guest in the closet. 7. In-room dining or room service food quality is quite bad. Even though the menu is relatively small, the items on there are really not good. Ordered room service on 3 different occasions, food was always below average. At least there’s Uber Eats as an alternative option. I hope the hotel is able to address these issues going forward because rooms and location are great and I would love to come back.
