Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise

The hotel was truly something special, unlike any place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home with their warm greetings. The views from our room were simply stunning; we looked out over the bright blue lake surrounded by mountains that transformed with the colors of sunrise and sunset, creating a breathtaking backdrop that changed throughout the day. Our room was so cozy and comfortable, with nice bedding and big windows that let all that natural beauty in. It really set the tone for our stay, especially since we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff took it up a notch by decorating our room to surprise us while we were at the spa—they even sent complimentary treats our way, which was such a sweet touch. One of the best parts of our trip was canoeing on the lake at sunrise. It was incredibly peaceful, gliding across the calm water and soaking in the gorgeous scenery all around us. We shared laughs and quiet moments, making it a memorable experience that feels like a dream now. In the afternoon, we went for a nice hike along the scenic trails, soaking up the sunshine and the fresh smell of the forest. The concierge made it so easy to plan our activities, recommending the best spots for both canoeing and hiking. All in all, our stay was unforgettable. The combination of stunning views, amazing service, and those thoughtful little touches made my wife's birthday feel really special. We’re already talking about coming back because we just can’t wait to experience all of that magic again!

Upon entering my room, I was greeted by breathtaking views of the tranquil lake. I truly appreciated the welcome dessert and the card celebrating my birthday. The in-room dining was excellent, featuring delicious food and great service. Dinner at the Lakeview Lounge was delightful; both the food and service were outstanding. Special thanks to our server, Joseph, whose hospitality made our experience memorable and enjoyable. I made a reservation for afternoon tea at Fairview a few weeks in advance, and I was fortunate to get a table with a lovely view by the window. This was one of the highlights of our visit. Thanks to Matt for his excellent service and to the lady staff member who took many wonderful photos of us. However, I encountered some challenges during my interaction with the concierge staff. While I understand that the lobby can be quite busy with tourists, I felt that the staff could have been more engaged in assisting me. I had to ask several questions to get the information I needed, and unfortunately, the luggage pick-up time I was given was unclear, which led to some inconvenience the following morning. I hope that improvements can be made in this area to enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would love to return to experience the different seasons.

We stayed for one night at the Fairmont lake Louise. The room was facing the lake and had an amazing view. We ate food at LoUisa and really enjoyed everything we had. The food was tasty and fresh accompanied by great service. The room bed and seating area was comfy. The wardrobe was good with plenty of hangers. The bathroom was a big let down. I know it was built a long time ago but the space wasn’t well used and the shower door does not enclose the shower so all the water goes everywhere. The wasn’t enough space to unpack a wash bag, needed some extra shelving or something extra. Check out was a pain. I got a text which said they would send me a bill. It took one 5 attempts to get them to send it to the right email address.
