Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston

I stayed here for business and was very impressed by the attentive service throughout my visit. Anytime I needed anything, the front desk answered the phone promptly, and any request—whether room service or otherwise—was handled quickly and professionally. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a junior suite. The separate bedroom and living/work area made it easy to unwind and stay productive without compromising rest. It was a welcome layout for a multi-day business trip. The restaurant food and cocktails were delicious—definitely worth enjoying even if you’re not staying in. I’d absolutely stay here again. That said, the rooms are starting to feel a bit dated. It didn’t impact my comfort too much, but the tub/shower combo was the main downside. For a suite-sized room, the shower was surprisingly small, and the curtain setup was awkward—either blowing inward or letting water spill onto the floor. A modern walk-in shower would make a big difference. Overall, though, a superb stay with excellent service and amenities.

All-in-all my stay was pleasant. The staff were wonderful, the room clean, and the hotel is in a nice neighborhood. The building was once fabulous, but unfortunately there are signs everywhere of corner-cutting and lack of maintenance. Dusty chandeliers, mirrors, and interior glass made me particularly sad. I believe the management would be well-served to get input from the staff regarding improvements because the people I met were sincerely concerned and proud of the Grande Dame.

Excellent location and although the hotel mascot was a sweet surprise, the hotel itself NEEDS a face lift ASAP! Smack in the middle of summer and our room didnt have refrigerator- bizarre! We were given warm water boxes when its 95 degrees outside. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Room service was decent, the staff was kind but the facility overall wasn't worth the price we paid.
