This hotel is beyond amazing from the style of the hotel and rooms to the staff. The staff were all friendly, helpful and caring. The valet team made sure to make us feel welcomed on arrival and even every day as we went and came back to the hotel. The front desk team were beyond amazing, professional and accommodating. Any issues were taken care of promptly. The hotel exudes elegance and class. The food was tasty and significant in portion. I can honestly say no other hotel is at the level of Fairmont Grand Del Mar- we will be back for sure!

We had a great experience staying in the hotel. The room was big and luxurious with a big bathroom. The patio was wonderful with the fire pit. Reception and in room dining staff were very friendly. Valet and housekeeping were very prompt in their service. Minor nit is that the in room dining menu was quite expensive. The food was good but it wasn’t anything special to demand almost twice the price that you pay at a restaurant. Would definitely recommend and consider staying again.

For a resort that markets itself as a luxury hotel, the room fell short of expectations. While the property itself is beautiful and the kids’ activities were a highlight, the room was disappointing. We encountered large black spiders, the carpet was heavily stained, and the walls were visibly dirty. The pillows and bedding lacked comfort and quality, and the wastebaskets didn’t have liners. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent, and the resort amenities made for a fun family experience, but the room definitely needs attention to match the luxury branding.
