My husband and I recently spent four nights at the Fairmont Olympic and loved every moment of our stay. Thanks to Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, we were upgraded to a junior suite at check-in — the room was stunning, spacious, and impeccably clean. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and helpful. The hotel itself exudes timeless elegance, blending historic charm with modern, updated amenities. Each morning, we enjoyed breakfast or brunch at The George, conveniently located just off the lobby. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely. One of the highlights of our trip was a memorable conversation with Michael, the bartender, who crafted exceptional cocktails with care and creativity. With over 40 years at the Fairmont, his presence speaks volumes about both his dedication and the hotel’s exceptional management. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to the entire team at the Fairmont Olympic for making our weekend so special!
This historic hotel is amazing! The staff was incredible and the room was beautiful and so comfortable. The only downside was there was no view from our room(225). It was a rooftop and, neighboring windows view. Breakfast was fantastic both the food and the service. Employees really seemed to take pride in their work! The shuttle service to our cruise was nice and so appreciated.
Our stay started out rough. Accessing valet parking before check in was quite difficult. The attendants were so busy that there was no one directing anyone on where to go. In the end, as I was finding a place to put my car, I was asked not to park and to circle the block. The attendant I talked to was nice though. Upon check-in, I arrived on time but my room wasn’t ready yet. I waited in the hotel lobby and was told that I would receive a text once my room was ready. After 30 minutes and no text, I approached the check in desk again and was told that my room had been ready. I asked why no one had texted me and why the delay, but I didn’t get an explanation, just an insincere apology. It felt crappy actually. We had less than 24 hours in Seattle and I was with my children who really needed to settle in after a long drive, but we were just a number apparently. The room itself was fine, but locating outlets for charging devices wasn’t easy. We chose this hotel because it was rated good for families, but our experience at this hotel didn’t transpire as a family-friendly experience.
