Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth

Our experience at The Queen Elizabeth was absolutely incredible! The location is perfect – central, convenient, and ideal for exploring every part of the city. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding: we were contacted on the day of our arrival to confirm our check-in time, and shortly after, we received an email letting us know that our room was ready – and it was still morning! The breakfast service was another highlight – very professional and personalized, which made for a truly enjoyable start for the day - thank you Dominic. The hotel also offers excellent facilities, including a spacious 24-hour fitness center and a pool with a Jacuzzi – perfect for relaxing after a long day. The room was perfectly equipped, and the bedding was honestly among the most comfortable we've ever experienced. Thanks for everything!

During our recent visit, we were thoroughly impressed by the concierge team’s outstanding dedication to guest satisfaction. Way before our trip, I worked with the hotel to help have gifts delivered to 30+ guests as a "thank you" for their attendance on the trip. The hotel also helped coordinate airport transfers and even provided tips to utilize services to make it through customs easier. With everyone email and phone call they greeted us with warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm. Every recommendation was thoughtfully curated and spot-on. They went above and beyond to anticipate our needs, and their attention to detail truly elevated our experience. We left with smiles on our faces and stories to share—all thanks to this incredible team. Kudos to the hotel for assembling such a stellar group of individuals!

I recently stayed at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly, helpful, and consistently willing to assist. Their warm service made a big difference during my stay. The hotel has a historic charm, and while my room was clean, some areas—particularly parts of the room and bathroom—are in need of updates or repairs. You can feel the age in some of the details, which could use attention to match the otherwise high standard of the hotel. On a brighter note, the breakfast food was excellent—delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Dining at the hotel was definitely a highlight. The location is also fantastic. It’s right in the heart of downtown Montreal and within walking distance to Old Montreal, which made exploring the city very convenient. Overall, a stay with great service and location, but the room could use some refreshing. I don’t think I will go back to this hotel anytime soon.
