Fairmont Udaipur Palace

We recently stayed at the Fairmont Udaipur Palace, and overall, it was a truly memorable experience. The property itself is absolutely stunning – regal architecture, tranquil surroundings, and a majestic ambiance that transports you to a different era. It's a perfect blend of luxury and tradition, and every corner of the palace reflects thoughtful design and elegance. The hospitality and service throughout our stay were commendable. The staff was consistently warm, attentive, and eager to assist, making us feel welcome and well-cared for. A special thanks to Ritam and Himadri at Darbar Restaurant, and Afzal, Shubham, and Gaurav from Room Service – their exceptional service and personal touch truly elevated our experience and made our stay all the more special. The food was delicious and offered a great variety, although we did encounter a few delays and a bit of confusion around our Accor Silver membership benefits. Some of the staff were not fully familiar with the entitlements, which led to initial misbilling and a denial of alcoholic beverages under our benefits. Thankfully, this was resolved, and the staff remained courteous and helpful throughout. However, we do hope that the hotel provides clearer training around Accor benefits to avoid such friction in the future. One other issue was during checkout, where we were unexpectedly asked to pay extra for our child, despite our booking clearly mentioning 2 adults and 1 child. While this too was ultimately resolved, the checkout staff did not demonstrate the same warmth and courtesy we experienced with the rest of the team, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the overall experience was still excellent, and the efforts of the staff truly stood out. With a bit of attention to internal training and coordination around membership programs and billing, this could easily be a flawless stay.

Very warm welcome. Our baby's birthday was very well celebrated. After a grand welcome had decent decoration in the room. Room looked very lavish, enjoyed the plunge pool. Food and beverage were Excellent. Would love to visit again.

Whether it was breakfast, a traditional Rajasthani thali, or an international dish, every meal was rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The chefs clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows in the taste and quality. And the property itself — absolutely breathtaking. Nestled amidst the hills with stunning architecture and regal interiors, Fairmont Udaipur Palace feels like a step into a royal era. The lush gardens, grand courtyards, and luxurious rooms made our stay both relaxing and memorable. We left feeling rejuvenated and truly cared for. Highly recommend Fairmont Udaipur Palace for anyone looking for a luxurious and culturally rich getaway. We can’t wait to return!
