Very cute little hotel in the middle of Bratislava. Fantastic location, waling distance to the old town and UFO tower and the river. Very friendly staff. Street Parking in front of the hotel also available (paid but still great value) Breakfast was also great! (for people who care about it)

Hotel has an excellent location, you don't realise you are so close to the old town until you go walking. Out the front door and go down the steps on left. This brings you under the main road and up the far side. Everything is within walking distance. Room was grand, nothing wrong with it at all, we got a free upgrade with a lovely view. 3 stars here as the air conditioning needed to be better, it was still too warm on its lowest setting. Breakfast was delicious, something for everyone. I did overhear another guest remark on how there was a vegan corner and they seemed quite impressed.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were really looking forward to the visit — it was our first trip as a married couple (which we told the hotel in advance), so we had hoped for something a little extra to make it a memorable experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. First impressions were good: the hotel is modern, clean and in a great location. Our room was spacious and well-maintained, and the spa area looked nice, though we didn’t use it. The gym had good equipment, though it was very hot during our stay, which made it difficult to use. We also didn’t try the breakfast, but from what we saw, it didn’t look particularly special. The hotel bar has a nice setting, but the signature cocktails were unfortunately not great. The biggest downside of our stay was the check-in experience. The receptionist was rude and dismissive. We had completed the online check-in, but found the interface a bit unclear. Instead of helping, she asked if we were done, we said yes, then she snapped, “Well, tell me then.” When we asked about local swimming options — first wondering if it was similar to Vienna where you can swim in parts of the Danube — she reacted with what felt like disgust and made us feel foolish for even asking. When we asked about Wakelake and whether there was a fee, she again responded rudely and wouldn’t even check with a colleague, saying “My colleague would know even less,” which we found both unhelpful and disrespectful. We had also read in another review that a guest had received free access to the rooftop bar for their birthday, so when we inquired about it, we were hopeful that, since we had let the hotel know this was our first trip as a married couple, maybe something small could be arranged. But there was no gesture, no acknowledgment — so we never went up to the rooftop bar. Overall, the lack of hospitality was really disappointing.
